### Position Summary:
The Director of International Recruitment will report to the Director of Recruitment and play a vital role in executing A-State’s strategic objectives regarding international student services and enrollment management. This individual will foster professional and friendly relationships with international students. The ideal candidate will possess strong public relations and customer service skills.

### Duties & Responsibilities:

**International Recruitment:**
– Develop an international itinerary and travel internationally to attract prospective students to undergraduate programs.
– Guide international students through the application process, serving as the primary contact for inquiries.
– Establish and manage partnerships with global agents.
– Conduct virtual webinars for prospective students.
– Communicate with prospective, applicant, and admitted students through various channels.
– Ensure timely follow-up on communication plans with agents, students, and families.
– Stay informed about undergraduate programs and admission requirements.
– Produce annual reports on international recruitment territories.
– Collaborate with the Enrollment Management Communications and Marketing team to craft post-recruitment communication plans.
– Spend approximately two months per year abroad.

**Relationships Management:**
– Oversee third-party recruitment agent contracts, including meetings with agents and conducting virtual sessions.
– Manage applicant pools from agents, ensure proper follow-up, communicate application updates, and track admissions.
– Form relationships with educational institutions, government bodies, and corporations.
– Cultivate partnerships with current and potential collaborators and educational professionals working with international students.

### Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
– Understanding of A-State programs and degree offerings.
– Knowledge of academic credit systems and registration processes.
– Ability to empathize and collaborate with diverse cultural groups.
– Cooperative working skills with on-campus and international offices.
– Strong public speaking and communication skills.

### General Days/Hours:
– Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
– Additional hours may be required.
– Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

### Other Requirements:
– Frequent travel, including nights and weekends, is necessary.
– Two months of international travel required annually.

### Minimum Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Counseling, International Education, International Business, International Affairs, or a related field.
– At least one year of experience in international student programs or working with international students in an academic setting is preferred.
– Experience in public speaking and effective communication across various cultures and backgrounds.
