San Francisco Film School is seeking a Director of International Recruitment and Enrollment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, enrolling, and retaining international students for the school. This includes building relationships with agents, coordinating with the admissions department, and managing student visas. The position is a hybrid, with 2 days on our San Francisco campus and the rest working from home. The salary for this position ranges from $82,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, and includes benefits. Previous relationships with international recruiting agents are required.
San Francisco Film School is a nationally accredited college that specializes in training film and media professionals. We are dedicated to reimagining the film school model and creating a more creative educational environment.
Recruitment responsibilities include organizing and managing the school’s international recruitment strategy, hosting recruitment events both virtually and in person, and developing a network of international recruiting agents. You will also provide training and materials on school programs and services and use our CRM system to manage communication with prospective students.
In terms of admissions and student visa processing, you will collect and submit prospective student documents, evaluate educational credentials and English proficiency, and maintain contact with prospective students throughout the application process. As a Designated School Official (DSO), you will issue I20s and DS2019s for international students and their dependents.
Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree, current relationships with international recruiting agents, and three years of experience in international education, recruitment, or admissions. We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can work effectively with diverse populations. Preferred qualifications include fluency in English and at least one additional language, experience studying or working abroad, and knowledge of foreign educational systems.
