About the role:

We are seeking a Director of the International Office to lead our highly capable and dynamic international office, overseeing international recruitment, admissions, and student support. This strategically important role, based at either our Cambridge or Chelmsford campuses, will help us further enhance our position as an international recruitment hub.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the international office, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of the international strategy and corporate plan. They will play a key role in achieving identified objectives and international recruitment targets, contributing to the growth and diversification of international recruitment to ARU.

If you have relevant experience in strategic leadership, innovative thinking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset, we would be delighted to hear from you. The ideal candidate should possess a higher degree, along with significant demonstrable professional experience or relevant professional qualifications at a postgraduate level (chartered where appropriate). Additionally, proven experience in working in an International Office with a substantial understanding of the higher education environment is essential for this role.
