We are currently looking for a Director of Global Marketing and Recruitment to join our Vice President’s leadership team. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role involves leading our strategic international marketing and channel management functions, as well as managing crucial stakeholder relationships. You will provide guidance and support to faculty Executive Deans, the Academic Portfolio Office, and other internal stakeholders to help achieve our strategic objectives.

The core responsibilities of this role include leading international student recruitment efforts to meet load and revenue targets, overseeing education agents, channel partners, and recruitment contractors, and leveraging sales and marketing expertise to enhance international student recruitment, branding, market intelligence, and online/digital communications. You will also contribute to new product development and optimize our global positioning, while effectively managing recruitment staff, operations, and budgets to ensure the successful recruitment of quality international students.

We are looking for a candidate with leadership experience in international student recruitment and business development, along with a proven track record in managing professional staff. Extensive experience in strategy development, project implementation, and outcome monitoring is essential, as well as a strong understanding of Australian government regulations pertaining to international students. Effective communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds, willingness to travel internationally, and flexibility in working hours are also crucial. Cultural diversity, knowledge of current trends in the Australian education sector, and familiarity with equity and workplace health and safety principles are important qualities we seek.
