Job Summary:
The Director, ACE Academic Support, reporting to the Dean of University College, is responsible for overseeing student academic support services such as supplemental instruction, tutoring, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish department goals and strategic plans
  • Oversee departmental leadership and staff performance standards
  • Ensure compliance with University, State, and Federal regulations
  • Manage the budget and seek funding
  • Supervise supplemental instruction, tutoring, and mentoring programs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
  • Ten years of management experience
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a related environment
  • Equivalent education and experience considered

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree
  • Two years of experience in a higher education environment in roles such as advising, teaching, or facilitating academic support services

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively and multitask
