**Position Details:**

– **Full-Time Equivalent:** 1.0 FTE (working 37 hours per week)
– **Salary:** Starting at UH7 £37,999 per annum, with the potential to progress to £45,163 per annum through annual increments based on skill development and experience
– **Annual Leave:** 30 days, plus standard public holidays, and an additional 4 days for office closure between Christmas and New Year
– **Location:** College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield (Flexible Location arrangements may be considered)

**About the Role:**

The International Office offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where each day brings new challenges. We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to join our team, contributing to the crucial efforts of recruiting and admitting international students to the University. This newly created position will be instrumental in supporting the Head of International Operations and the International Admissions Manager in leading the admissions function within the International Office. The post holder will have a significant role in managing admissions and will also support the recruitment and commercial activities of the office.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Serve as part of the senior management team within international admissions to meet objectives and targets by managing workloads across various regions and staff.
– Manage the International Admissions Officers and assist with the International Admissions Administrators, overseeing their performance, from recruitment and induction to training, appraisal, and performance management.
– Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and motivate the team to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
– Collaborate with the International Recruitment team, both locally and internationally, to understand designated markets and gain insights into overseas qualifications and education systems.

**Skills and Experience Required:**

– Strong management, organizational, and IT skills.
– Experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational setting, is beneficial.
– Commitment to delivering high-quality service with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
– Familiarity with customer relationship management systems, student record systems, and an understanding of international or EU qualifications would be advantageous.

**Qualifications:**

– A degree or equivalent qualification is essential, or substantial relevant work experience.
