Job Title: Deputy International Admissions Manager
Employment Type: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Salary: UH7 £37,099 pa to £41,732 pa, with potential to progress to £44,263 pa through annual increments based on skills and experience
Annual Leave: 30 days, plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days during the office closure between Christmas and New Year
Location: College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield

We are seeking proactive and talented individuals to join our International Office. As the Deputy International Admissions Manager, you will play a crucial role in the University of Hertfordshire’s international admissions function. You will also provide support to the recruitment and commercial functions of the International Office.

Key Responsibilities:
– Work as part of the senior management team within international admissions to achieve team objectives and targets.
– Manage workload across all regions and staff, including International Admissions Officers and Administrators.
– Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and motivate the team to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
– Collaborate closely with the International Recruitment team to gain a deep understanding of designated markets/regions and overseas education systems.

Skills and Experience Required:
– Excellent management, organizational, and IT skills.
– Previous administrative experience, preferably in an educational environment.
– Commitment to providing high-quality service.
– Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
– Familiarity with customer relationship management systems, student record systems, international or EU qualifications, or proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.

Qualifications Required:
– Minimum of a degree or equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant work experience.
