University Services – Deputy Immigration Compliance Manager

The Deputy Immigration Compliance Manager deputises for the Immigration Compliance Manager and is responsible for supporting key aspects of the University’s statutory duties relating to the Student Visa Route, under the Points Based System of Immigration. This includes: pre-registration identity and document checks for non-UK students, receipt, processing and distribution of Biometric Residence Permits, collection and maintenance of passport and visa records, co-ordination of visa registration/chek in events for international students, training and supervising a seasonal workforce and monitoring and preparation of student data for reporting on the Home Office Sponsor Management System.
Due to Home Office regulations on handling biometric residence permits, only UK and Irish nationals or those with indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK are eligible for this post. Successful applicants must undergo a Home Office security check before commencing the post.
