The role of the Deputy Head of International Partnerships (Partnerships) is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking team within the International Partnership & Relations department. This role involves managing all aspects of the University’s recruiting, strategic international research, transnational education partnerships, and external stakeholder engagement.
As the University’s expert voice on partnership development and relationship management, you will work closely with academic and professional colleagues, overseas partner institutions, and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include strategic development, overall management of Bristol’s international partnerships, and providing guidance and expert opinions to your team of 5 staff.
In this role, you will need to be results-driven with high standards, while also fostering a supportive and fun working environment. The successful applicant will be a positive and decisive leader, capable of simplifying complex matters and managing conflicting priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships, and effective communication at all levels are essential. Previous experience working in a Higher Education Institution and knowledge of partnership development practices are also required.
