FTE: 1.0 FTE (working 37 hours per week)
Salary: UH8 £42,155 to £44,737 per annum with potential to progress to £53,353 per annum by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience

Main duties and responsibilities
The main purpose of the job is to provide central coordination and support for both UK and international partnerships, supporting the Head of Academic Partnerships. The postholder will act as Quality Liaison Manager for strategically important partnerships and will be the first point of operational contact for the University in its relationship with key partners.
The postholder is expected to work collaboratively with the Higher Education Managers from the Hertfordshire Consortium Colleges and other key college staff, to manage operational aspects of the Consortium portfolio. The postholder will ensure consistency of operation for partnership programmes across the University, through monitoring of statistical indicators, production of relevant reports, monitoring the performance of partners against key action plans and working collaboratively with leads from academic schools at the University.
Skills and experience required
You will have teaching, learning and assessment experience preferably within a HE context, as well as experience of module and programme leadership and programme development.
You will be required to demonstrate a strong track record of team leadership, problem solving abilities and have experience of dealing with colleagues at all levels. You will also have strong influence/negotiation skills and a proven track record of prioritising activities to enhance provision and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You will be required to demonstrate significant experience of quality assurance and quality enhancement in education. You will also possess an understanding of the changing sector wide context in UK Higher Education, including the HE in FE environment and preferably have experience of collaborative provision.
Qualifications required
The postholder will be required to hold a Degree or equivalent, or be able to evidence proven experience. A postgraduate degree/qualification would be desirable as too would be membership of any relevant professional bodies.
