This post is available at either the Shrivenham (SN6 8LA) or Cranfield (MK43 0AL) site, and may require travel to the other site. Cranfield has clients overseas, particularly in the Middle East, where we collaborate with major UK defence suppliers to support capability building and export success in line with UK Government priorities.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a successful background in delivering complex projects and programmes, preferably for international clients. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
– Operate confidently and decisively at a senior level, influencing and gaining support from internal stakeholders and other parties.
– Manage and report on complex high-level budgets and multi-layered project plans and risks.
– Coordinate resources and influence staff, suppliers, and partners to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects and activities.
– Identify, build, manage, and leverage strategic partnerships with government, industry, co-investors, and key delivery partners.
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Cranfield’s overseas contracts, meeting the expectations of customers, students, and staff. The role will also involve managing and developing internal relationships with Academics, Marketing and International Student Recruitment, as well as the Cranfield Security Controller and security staff.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a degree or professional equivalent, along with evidence of continuing professional development and membership in a professional association (e.g. APM). Extensive experience in multi-disciplinary project management and/or service delivery, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver investment and change is required. Proven expertise in project and programme management with successful outcomes is also desired.
