**The Opportunity**
Are you a seasoned professional in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) with strategic leadership expertise and a dedication to promoting inclusivity? We are looking for an inspiring Dean for Culture and Inclusion to:

– Lead university-wide EDI strategies and initiatives.
– Drive cultural change to foster an equitable and welcoming environment.
– Champion EDI in research, teaching, engagement, and broadening participation.
– Work collaboratively with stakeholders to integrate EDI into decision-making.
– Develop and implement strategies to overcome barriers and enhance diversity.

**The Role**
As the Dean for Culture and Inclusion, you will collaborate closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and senior leaders, providing expert guidance and strategic direction on all EDI aspects. Your role involves embedding inclusive practices across the University and ensuring accountability for EDI progress. Responsibilities include:

– Managing the Anti-Harassment and Bullying Team and related programs.
– Leading EDI program boards and steering committees.
– Crafting and executing strategies to address disparities and underrepresentation.
– Representing Lancaster University in regional, national, and international EDI forums.
– Cultivating a campus culture of respect, belonging, and open dialogue.

**About You**

– Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
– A proven track record in designing and implementing impactful EDI initiatives.
