Job Opportunity at the Cambridge Service Alliance (CSA): International Industry Partnership Development

The Cambridge Service Alliance (CSA), a prominent research center located within the Institute for Manufacturing in West Cambridge, is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join its team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of digital service transformation by fostering partnerships between academia and industry leaders. As a key representative of CSA, you will collaborate with industry experts to influence research priorities, support innovative education, and help prepare industries for future digital service challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing and new industry partners.
  • Work collaboratively to define and steer the CSA’s research agenda.
  • Expand CSA’s international presence and secure new memberships and partnerships.
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange and align CSA activities with academic and industry needs.
  • Prepare and submit research grant proposals to secure funding for CSA’s initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent research experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Proven experience in managing industry partnerships, business development, or a similar role.
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating workshops and collaborative events.
