Overview:

The Global Programs team at the Australian National University (ANU) is seeking a motivated individual interested in student mobility, learning abroad, and international education to join as the Coordinator of Global Programs. While previous experience in student mobility and learning abroad programs is advantageous, it is not essential. The Global Programs team is responsible for implementing, delivering, and supporting learning abroad programs at ANU. They provide assistance to colleges, students, and other stakeholders in facilitating credit-bearing international study experiences for both ANU students going abroad and international students coming to ANU. Additionally, Global Programs manages funding schemes such as OS-HELP, New Colombo Plan, and ANU Vice Chancellors Coursework Travel Grants. The Coordinator will contribute to the development and delivery of these programs to offer diverse international learning opportunities for domestic and international ANU students. The position involves facilitating one or two semester programs as well as shorter programs to promote the exchange of students between ANU and partner universities in line with ANU’s plans for international student mobility.

Qualifications:

Applicants should be self-motivated and organized professionals with demonstrated experience in student mobility, learning abroad programming, or related roles in the international education field. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service are important, along with effective time management and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving. Collaboration and consultation skills are essential.
