Job Description:
– Report to the Student Immigration Team Manager
– No direct supervisory responsibilities
– Coordinate and proactively ensure compliance with UKVI Student Visa sponsor duties
– Stay updated on Home Office immigration legislation and UKVI policy changes and inform the team manager of any impact on immigration compliance
– Review and update policy documents to align with immigration legislation and UKVI policy changes
– Guide and support students in understanding Student visa compliance requirements and responsibilities
– Monitor and report changes in sponsored student circumstances through the UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS)
– Conduct right to study checks with international students during enrollment periods
– Plan and conduct internal compliance audits to ensure strict adherence to Student visa sponsor duties
– Provide guidance, training, and raise awareness to academics, administrators, and other internal departments regarding visa inquiries and attendance monitoring
– Collect, analyze, and report data on Student visa requirements and key performance indicators for the annual Home Office Basic Compliance Assessment
– Perform any other relevant duties as required by the Student Immigration Team Manager and commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post
