UKRI – NERC – BGS have an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Media Manager to be based at their headquarters in Keyworth, Nottingham.

This role offers a salary range of £31,931 to £34,709 (depending on qualifications and experience) and a great benefits package, including an outstanding pension scheme, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and access to flexi-time. It is a full-time position working 37 hours a week (some flexible working options may be available including a small amount of remote working in line with BGS policy).

This role involves nurturing relationships with national and international media, amplifying the BGS brand across the globe, managing external communications, and overseeing the UK Critical Minerals Intelligence Centre.

The successful applicant should have strong communication skills and experience of using a variety of communication channels, as well as the ability to write engaging copy to tight deadlines. It may require occasional travel within the UK and internationally.
