**Job Summary:**
Assist with the baseball program under the guidance of the Coach.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
– Support the baseball program as directed by the Coach.
– Assist in team and program management and development.
– Perform other related tasks as needed.
**Education and Experience:**
– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Must not be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
– Understanding of baseball.
– Basic computer skills, including familiarity with databases.
– Strong interpersonal skills.
– Commitment to student learning, growth, and success, along with innovation and improvement.
– Sensitivity to students’ diverse backgrounds and needs.
– Adherence to NCAA by-laws and Lone Star Conference regulations.
– Knowledge of motivational teaching and learning strategies.
– Effective oral and written communication skills.
– Ability to interact professionally with the university community, external community, and media.
**Other Requirements:**
– Valid driver’s license for occasional transportation of student-athletes.
– Ability to travel as needed.
– Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends.
– Requirement for on-campus, face-to-face interactions.
– Consistent attendance on campus and in the workplace is mandatory.
– Subject to NCAA enforcement staff compliance review; employment is contingent upon satisfactory results.
**Compensation:** $14.43 per hour, up to 19 hours per week
