Job Overview: Clinical Trials Monitor Position at Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU)
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Trials Monitor to join the esteemed Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) team in the UK. You will be integral to overseeing key clinical trial activities for the FLIP2 and MET-FINGER trials. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with rigorous protocols and global standards.
The FLIP2 Trial focuses on assessing a live biotherapeutic to prevent preterm labor in high-risk women, involving approximately 360 participants across the UK and EU. The MET-FINGER Trial aims to evaluate lifestyle and pharmacological interventions for cognitive changes in older adults at risk of dementia, recruiting 600 participants in the UK, Finland, and Sweden.
Role Responsibilities:
Your diverse responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring trial sites for recruitment, data collection, and adherence to timelines.
- Ensuring trial protocols, legal, and ethical standards are maintained.
- Traveling to both national and international trial sites, with occasional overnight stays required.
Candidate Requirements:
- A science degree (BSc), equivalent vocational qualifications, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in clinical trial monitoring and familiarity with current regulations are essential.
