The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, offers over 100 study abroad programs in 12 countries to students from more than 300 higher learning institutions in the United States. We are currently ranked as the #1 university in the USA for the number of students who participate in our short-term, summer, semester, and full-year study abroad programs. With 30 programs offered at universities in the UK, in addition to our London Center, the College of Global Studies provides a wide range of study abroad options, including first-year programs, internships, and undergraduate research opportunities. Our London Center, situated in Bloomsbury, provides classes, academic programs, student life services, and comprehensive support to our students.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team of experienced international educators as our Center Coordinator at the London Center. This role involves providing front-line services to all visitors of the Center, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing room bookings, supporting colleagues, and responding to inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in study abroad programming and international higher education. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with students, staff, and visitors while maintaining a calm and organized work environment. Being well-presented, reliable, and punctual is essential for this front-facing position, and the candidate should be willing to assist other departments within the Center as needed.
This is a full-time position, requiring 36 hours per week, spread over 4 days (Monday-Thursday) from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. There may be occasional weekend or evening work related to events. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, and applications will be reviewed upon submission.
The minimum qualifications required for this role are GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C or above, or equivalent.
