OVERVIEW The Admissions Counsellor (US Colleges) role at Crimson Education focuses on supporting students and families through the highly competitive US college admissions process. Working within a global EdTech organization, the counsellor develops long-term, personalized admissions strategies that align with each studentās academic profile, interests, and goals. The role can be performed on a full-time or part-time basis and may be remote or office-based, allowing for flexibility and global collaboration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Partner with students and families to develop and execute long-term strategies for US college applications – Guide students in academic planning throughout their secondary education – Support students in developing and selecting extracurricular activities aligned with admissions goals – Advise students on school and college selection within the US higher education system – Mentor students throughout the admissions journey – Collaborate with internal teams to support student outcomes – Maintain deep knowledge of higher education institutions – Support students through competitive admissions processes REQUIREMENTS – Availability to work in a full-time or part-time capacity – Ability to work remotely or in an office-based setting globally WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS US college admissions have become increasingly complex and competitive, particularly for students applying from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
