What You’ll Do:

As Career Services Manager, you will focus on providing robust career planning support to both domestic and international students, tailoring programming to their diverse needs and aspirations. You’ll:

  • Advise Globally: Assist international students in navigating U.S. employment systems, including job readiness, internships, and visa requirements (e.g., OPT, CPT). Similarly, help domestic students prepare for global career opportunities.
  • Build International Connections: Establish employer relationships both locally and globally to unlock opportunities for all students.
  • Encourage Workforce Preparedness Across Cultures: Develop workshops on cross-cultural communication, interview practices, and navigating global job markets to ensure students can thrive anywhere.
  • Stay Current on SEVIS Regulations: While experience with SEVIS is preferred, a willingness to learn and comply with these requirements is essential for managing career-related visa concerns.

Key Qualifications for International Success:

Ideal candidates will demonstrate their alignment with the following qualifications:

Required:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology, Public Administration, or other relevant fields.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in career services, advising, higher education administration, or program management. Note: 5 years of experience is preferred.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Suite tools (Forms, Sheets, Calendar) and CRM systems for managing employer and student data.

Preferred:

  • Commitment to assisting international students and managing global student services.
  • Familiarity with SEVIS regulations or evidence of being proactive in learning them.

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: $75,000/year – $85,000/year.
  • Benefits: Includes 401K, PTO, Paid Sick Leave, Health Insurance stipend, and Tuition Reimbursement.
