**Position Overview:**
– **Full-time:** 35 hours per week
– **Fixed term:** Two-year contract
The School of Informatics is seeking a Business Development and Programme Manager to collaborate with a major business partner. This pivotal role involves developing, promoting, and delivering key programmes.
**The Opportunity:**
The successful candidate will serve as an enthusiastic advocate, engaging the partner with the University’s innovations while maximizing opportunities and setting clear mutual expectations, all while maintaining the highest standards of integrity. You will lead efforts, in consultation with senior management, to manage the School’s relationship with the partner’s senior executives.
As the Business Development and Programme Manager, you will provide project management services, coordinating input from colleagues and suppliers to ensure projects meet budgets, outputs, and schedules. You will be responsible for prioritizing, allocating, and reporting on funds within overarching agreements, including defining award criteria and coordinating award management.
Your role will involve meeting quarterly targets while ensuring an exceptional experience for the business partner. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working, combining remote and on-campus work (non-contractual basis).
**Skills and Attributes for Success:**
– Degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
– Significant experience in higher education administration or project management
– Account and client relationship management experience
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Proven project management skills overseeing multiple projects
– Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
– Capability to build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders
