In line with its mission, Florida International University is in search of an Assistant Professor to join the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computing. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate Engineering courses, such as Structural Analysis (CES 3100), Structural Dynamics (EGM 5421), and Topics in Wind Engineering (CES 5587). The successful candidate will also engage in scholarly research focused on Wind-Structure Interactions or related areas, publishing and presenting their findings in scholarly journals and conferences. Additionally, they will be responsible for securing grant funding to support their research programs and participating in departmental and university-wide events, projects, or service as required.

Applicants for this position must possess a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
