Job Description:
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a distinguished member of the Texas A&M University System, is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Marketing position starting Fall 2025. Located in the vibrant, bicultural city of Laredo, Texas, TAMIU serves as a Hispanic Serving Institution. This is a tenure-track, 9-month position requiring face-to-face interactions on campus. Primary responsibilities include teaching marketing courses and engaging in scholarly research. Assistant Professors benefit from a reduced teaching load (2 classes per semester) during their first two years. The School of Business, accredited by AACSB, offers a PhD in International Business Administration and is home to the International Trade Journal, providing ample research databases and collaborating opportunities with centers of excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Marketing or a closely related field, with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution. ABD candidates close to degree completion will be considered.
  • A strong inclination towards continuous improvement and scholarly research.
