**Job Description:**
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), part of the Texas A&M University System, is seeking applicants for the role of Assistant Professor of Marketing, commencing in Fall 2025. TAMIU, a Hispanic Serving Institution with a student body exceeding 8,000, is located in Laredo, Texas—a lively and bicultural city with a population of about 250,000. This is a tenure-track, nine-month position. Key responsibilities include teaching and conducting scholarly research in marketing. Additional duties involve services to the department, college, and university. The role requires on-campus presence to support face-to-face interactions. Initially, assistant professors teach two classes per semester in their first two years. The School of Business, accredited by AACSB, offers a Ph.D. in International Business Administration and houses the International Trade Journal, with access to extensive research databases.
**Required Qualifications:**
The successful candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD will be considered if they can complete their degree before the start date. Applicants are encouraged to have a strong commitment to scholarly research and continuous improvement. Opportunities for research collaboration are available through our centers of excellence.
