Job Overview: Assistant Market Manager in International Student Recruitment

The role of Assistant Market Manager is pivotal for promoting student recruitment activities for our British university partners. Based in our Dubai office, the position involves supporting the Regional Manager while collaborating with senior colleagues, including the Director of Sponsor Engagement in Dubai and the Senior International Marketing Manager in Riyadh. Your main objective is to boost recruitment from the MENA region to our UK university partners, aligning with Kaplan International’s expansion goals in the area.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Support internationalisation goals by developing strong internal and external stakeholder relations.
  • Provide guidance and advice to prospective students and agents.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A university degree with a background in international education recruitment or marketing.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in international markets, customer relationship management software (especially Salesforce), and the ability to travel independently.
  • Understanding of cultural differences and appreciation of various working styles.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven success in international recruitment campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian education systems and an understanding of visa regulations in international higher education.
  • Experience with British education systems.
