Brunel University London is currently seeking an Assistant Head of International Student Recruitment to join our Marketing, Communications, and Recruitment Directorate. Our Directorate supports the management of the University’s brand and reputation and leads the strategy for student recruitment, admissions, and alumni and development.

The International Student Recruitment (ISR) team is responsible for recruiting international students and managing our extensive agent network worldwide.
As a new role, the Assistant Head of International Student Recruitment will report to the Head of ISR and be responsible for developing, optimizing, and assessing our student recruitment strategies, plans, and campaigns to achieve international student recruitment targets. This role will also oversee the marketing planning function within the team and collaborate with the Head of ISR in preparing papers for senior University committees.
The post will involve managing Regional Managers in key markets according to our recruitment strategy. Although based in the UK, the role requires line management of a multicultural, multinational team, some of whom are based overseas. Occasionally, international travel will be necessary for 8-12 weeks per year.
Candidates must have a degree or equivalent qualification, demonstrate innovative thinking, and possess strong analytical skills to identify new opportunities and develop business cases. Commercial acumen and cultural sensitivity are essential to understand diverse needs and preferences.
