Location: Saint Louis, Missouri (Local candidates only)
Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to travel the world, establish meaningful connections, and contribute to the future of education? If so, then keep reading because we have the perfect role for you!

As the Assistant Director of Marketing and Recruitment, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement a dynamic international recruitment and marketing strategy. This strategy aims to attract students from around the globe to enroll in INTO SLU programs and Saint Louis University degree offerings.

Your success in this role will be measured by achieving international enrollment targets set in the INTO SLU strategic plan. To achieve these targets, you will leverage a vast network of on- and off-campus resources, including esteemed alumni, influential government bodies, strategic institutional partners, and valuable faculty connections. Additionally, you will collaborate with INTO’s global recruitment network and regional offices to drive international student enrollments.

In collaboration with the University’s Office of Admissions, the INTO SLU Director of Operations and Partner Relations, and the INTO North America Director of Recruitment and Director of Marketing, you will craft and execute a compelling strategy to attract international students.

This role requires significant travel to promote SLU and its programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive recruitment plan, including participation in global recruitment activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and alumni events to enhance the global presence of SLU and attract a diverse international student population across all programs. These activities may be conducted virtually and in person.
Work with INTO regional offices to establish country-specific strategies and achieve recruitment goals in different countries and regions.
Travel internationally as needed to promote SLU and its programs, including attending virtual recruitment events held in international time zones.
Serve as the primary point of contact and resource for INTO’s regional offices, providing in-depth knowledge about SLU programs and managing communications effectively.
Manage and oversee scholarship budgets and allocations in collaboration with INTO and SLU. Monitor progress against recruitment goals and provide regular reports.
Lead the development and management of conversion tools and platforms, such as peer-to-peer recruitment, webinars, and calendar bookings.
Supervise and oversee student workers and interns who support SLU recruitment and marketing activities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with recruitment channels focused on the US, including education counselors, government organizations, sponsoring organizations, feeder institutions, and articulation partners.
Directly manage a Recruitment and Marketing Specialist, ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of their tasks and objectives through regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and objective setting.
Provide ongoing training, support, and detailed program knowledge to external marketing and recruitment partners. Represent SLU program offerings at promotional events alongside global partners.

Ready for the Adventure? This role requires both domestic and international travel, and working outside regular business hours may be necessary. If you are a versatile, creative, and results-driven marketer ready to make a significant impact on the international education stage, INTO SLU is the ideal environment for you.

Application Process: We have an ongoing recruitment process, reviewing applications as they are submitted. All applicants will receive a response.
