Oxford Brookes University is seeking to fill a full-time position for an experienced, dependable and highly driven UK Admissions Operations Manager. Working as a member of the Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement directorate, the successful candidate will form part of a dynamic team using their specialist skills and knowledge to facilitate the accurate and timely processing of admissions decisions, derived from an understanding of worldwide qualifications and contextual backgrounds. The team works in collaboration with agents, staff from the faculties, along with UK and international partners, to guarantee that all candidates for UG and PGT courses are given a fair and proper assessment. This function is also essential for the University to satisfy regulatory and professional accreditation standards.

The principal role of the Admissions Operations Manager is to collaborate with the other Admissions Operations Manager to monitor the functional management of the University’s application processing for UG and PGT applicants. The successful candidate will make sure that the team’s activity conforms to institutional regulations and best practice in the industry, together with making sure that applicable compliance processes are in place. They will also act as the primary contact for administrators in the faculties in terms of the application procedure. In particular, there will be a focus on international recruitment and UKVI compliance.
The ideal candidate for the position of Admissions Operations Manager should have extensive experience in a university admissions setting, with the capacity to make decisions on applications from UK and international students. Furthermore, they should possess the capability to effectively form the processes and systems that their team needs to carry out a demanding workload. The ability to guide a team to satisfy performance targets is a must.
