Richmond American University London
About the Role:
Richmond American University London is seeking a qualified academic professional to fill a temporary, part-time Assistant Professor role for one year. This exciting opportunity involves contributing to the development of degree programmes validated by Richmond at its partner universities in China and beyond.
The job is primarily focused on curriculum design, validation processes, and quality assurance for degree courses offered in collaboration with Chinese universities. These programmes include disciplines such as Visual Communications Design, Software Design, Finance, Accounting, and Business English, so an academic background in one of these areas would be advantageous. While teaching responsibilities at Richmond will not initially be part of this role, the position involves close collaboration with Richmond’s Provost and the Collaborative Provision team, as well as possible travel to partner universities in China.
The successful candidate will play an essential role in bridging UK higher education benchmarks with the curriculum requirements of Chinese universities, ensuring that programmes meet rigorous academic and compliance standards for validation by Richmond. This role is ideal for someone who’s interested in international education, curriculum development, and cross-cultural collaboration within an academic environment.
