About the Position Join our team on an exciting journey to inspire and recruit the next generation of international and domestic students! As the right-hand person to the Student Recruitment Coordinator, you will be instrumental in engaging and nurturing prospective students. Your role will involve recruiting top talent within Australia for undergraduate programs, while promoting diversity and inclusivity in line with our Advancing Students and Education Strategy 2023-2030. You will be the main contact with Trinity Foundation Studies Program, a crucial partner in our international student recruitment efforts. Focusing on Victoria and beyond, you will represent the university at recruitment events to showcase what sets us apart. Your tasks will include: – Assisting the Student Recruitment Coordinator in developing and implementing a recruitment plan to convert onshore international students from enquiries to enrolment. – Coordinating the University’s communication with Trinity College Foundation Studies to enhance contact and conversion of prospective students. – Representing the University at recruitment events for onshore international and domestic students, both online and in-person, in partnership with the Student Recruitment Coordinator. Who We Are Looking For Are you a professional who thrives on the challenges of student recruitment? We are seeking someone with a proven track record in creating campaigns that drive recruitment goals forward. Familiarity with the Australian international higher education landscape is essential. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to engage diverse audiences, and influence across cultures will be key. You should be adept at handling complex events and managing programs from inception to completion, while meeting deadlines effectively. Additionally, you should have: – A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience and/or education/training. – Proficiency in using CRM systems and digital strategies/channels for student recruitment. – Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders in complex organizations to influence decision-making. – Ability to manage financial resources to ensure timely and budget-friendly program delivery. – Demonstrated experience in communications, public relations, or marketing. Your New Team – Student and Scholarly Services Student and Scholarly Services oversees student administration and services from recruitment to graduation, as well as providing wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff. Onshore Recruitment, as part of this department, focuses on positioning the university as the preferred choice for undergraduate students onshore and internationally. The team also supports graduate student recruitment in collaboration with Academic Divisions.
