In this position, you will play a key role in UAL’s international student recruitment strategy. Collaborating with the Head of International Student Recruitment and other colleagues in the Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions department, you will lead the management of student recruitment activities to achieve the University’s strategic and operational goals. This will involve overseeing international recruitment plans in designated markets, working with the marketing team to create data-driven marketing strategies, managing agent and school relationships, and providing line management for the international recruitment team. You will stay updated on developments in the global student recruitment market, increase UAL’s brand visibility, provide excellent customer service to prospective international students, and contribute to the creation of tailored recruitment materials across various platforms. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree or higher education qualification, as well as experience in managing staff and relationships with agents and feeder institutions. You should possess knowledge and interest in the global student recruitment market and have experience in direct recruitment and recruitment through overseas agents. Collaboration, flexibility, and a target-driven mindset are essential. This role also requires travel within the UK, EU, and internationally. Effective internal and external communication will be crucial, as you will serve as an ambassador for the University. Exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and negotiate with key stakeholders are essential.
