The Student Learning Advisor collaborates with the Academic Services team to provide learning support to students at all levels of study within the university. This role involves developing strategies to help students acquire essential study skills, improve language proficiency, adjust to studying in an Australian learning environment, maintain academic integrity, and support at-risk students. The Student Learning Advisor also has a teaching role in Pathway programs, where they contribute to the delivery of high-quality and engaging educational experiences. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in the higher education industry. They should also possess teaching qualifications and have the ability to deliver classes in a supportive and technologically advanced setting. Experience in developing and providing student support services, knowledge of current educational practices, and the ability to work closely with diverse student populations are also essential. A deep understanding of academic integrity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently are crucial.
