University of Roehampton

The University of Roehampton is currently seeking International Student Engagement Coaches to join the Student Support and Success Directorate. This role involves supporting students to achieve their full potential and making a positive difference within a diverse and inclusive community.

If you are looking to develop your career in a dynamic and inclusive team that values performance and success, we encourage you to apply for a position on the Student Engagement Team. Ideal candidates will be motivated, innovative, and self-aware individuals who possess a strong passion for supporting students, work well in a team environment, and have a proactive approach to their work.

Key responsibilities of this role include monitoring the attendance of international students, organizing and leading intervention meetings if attendance is below the required threshold, supporting academically at-risk international students, identifying trends and patterns to engage students who may not comply with attendance policies, and developing and monitoring engagement plans for students at risk of not achieving positive outcomes.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience providing academic support and guidance to international students or similar roles within the education sector. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential, as well as an understanding of the challenges faced by international students and their impact on engagement and progression. The ability to learn and utilize administrative systems, such as SEAtS, is also desired.

The University of Roehampton is located on a beautiful 54-acre parkland campus in London and is proud to offer a range of excellent facilities. As a member of our Professional Services/Support staff up to Grade RU6, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package.
