Job summary:
Are you interested in joining our International Student Recruitment team at one of the top 10 universities in the world? Imperial College London is known for its excellence in teaching and pioneering research in science, engineering, medicine, and business. We are seeking a Senior International Officer to lead the student recruitment efforts in South Asia and the Middle East. As part of this role, you will develop strategic initiatives, engage with prospective students and stakeholders, and collaborate with the Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions team to attract the brightest students worldwide.

Duties and responsibilities:
– Develop and implement specific plans and strategies for student recruitment from South Asia and the Middle East.
– Engage with students, counselors, parents, and key stakeholders to provide information and promote the university.
– Manage and support the development of the International Student Recruitment team.
– Develop in-depth knowledge of the assigned markets, seek market intelligence, and support faculties and departments with recruitment strategies.

Essential requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
– Experience in international student recruitment or education marketing.
– Knowledge of the UK Higher Education system and admissions processes.
– Staff management experience.
– Experience in activity planning and resource management.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
– Cultural knowledge and sensitivity.
– Experience in building positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
– Flexibility and adaptability.
– Willingness to travel overseas with a valid passport.
