UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is seeking a Senior International Funds Manager to join their team. This is a full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE), permanent position based in Swindon, with flexible hybrid working options available. The closing date for applications is 22nd April 2024. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of International Funds Delivery to deliver and implement UKRI’s International Funds. You will be responsible for shaping international funds across UKRI, networking with stakeholders, developing policy and strategy, and managing the development of UKRI funds. Your key responsibilities will include supporting the International Science Partnerships Fund, developing fund-specific policies and communications, overseeing international funds distributed to Councils, and managing the planning and delivery of specific international initiatives. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of a first degree or equivalent qualification. You should also have experience in project management, including the ability to manage a portfolio of projects with different priorities and delivery mechanisms. Experience in the development and delivery of research and innovation programmes is required, including knowledge of commissioning processes and grants administration. Additionally, you should be creative, analytical, and able to generate new ideas with practical applications.
