Australian College of Applied Professions

ACAP, also known as The Australian College of Applied Professions, is the leading independent provider of tertiary education in Australia. We offer accredited courses in various fields, including psychology, counselling, coaching, criminology, social work, law, and business management and leadership (MBA). At ACAP, our primary focus is on the student, whether they choose to study online or on campus. We are dedicated to servicing and supporting our students throughout their educational journey. While we have processes and policies in place, we prioritize customer service and believe that our rules exist to support the student, rather than to punish them. The student is the core reason for our existence, and we strive for their progress and successful graduation. Currently, we are actively searching for an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of International Student Engagement Coordinator. As part of a tight-knit, fun, and supportive team with a strong emphasis on student outcomes, you will be responsible for managing the entire student journey from beginning to end. This includes working collaboratively with the National Student Engagement, Campus, and Functional teams to introduce and support initiatives specific to international students. Your role will involve driving engagement and retention of international students by utilizing data-driven analysis to achieve commercial objectives. Additionally, you will develop and implement multi-channel communication and engagement strategies that enhance student engagement, progression, completion, and other relevant metrics. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate your experience in a similar position, providing exceptional student or customer service within an educational setting. You should have a clear understanding of the industry’s regulatory environment, including the ESOS Act, National Code, PRISMS, visa rules, and other applicable frameworks. Furthermore, your skill set should include the ability to create systems and processes that prioritize customer-driven outcomes, use data effectively on an institutional scale, lead teams, and build positive relationships with students, staff, and external stakeholders. What sets ACAP apart is our people-focused, purpose-driven culture. We are dedicated to innovation and progression, attracting change-makers who are committed to transforming lives through meaningful education. With staff and students from diverse backgrounds and over 40 different countries, the work we do has far-reaching benefits. We are united by a shared vision to achieve real-world change, eliminating roadblocks and barriers to fast-track our achievements and reach our goals. We prioritize diversity and equity in our workforce, embracing differences and ensuring accessibility. Additionally, with campuses across Australia, there are ample opportunities for career growth regardless of your location. Working with ACAP comes with several benefits and perks, including genuine flexibility with hybrid working arrangements, health and wellbeing packages that offer free counseling for employees and their families, discounted gym memberships, movie tickets, travel options, hotel stays, and insurance. We also provide salary packaging and novated leasing options, as well as up to 75% off study scholarships for all our courses. Furthermore, we value volunteerism and offer two paid volunteer days per year for employees to contribute to their passionate causes. At ACAP, we are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We believe that an equal, flexible, and diverse workforce creates a collaborative environment for all employees, students, and clients. We encourage individuals with disabilities, from all age groups and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and diverse community groups to apply. If you are interested in joining a vibrant and growing team that is focused on innovative teaching, high standards of student experience, and positive outcomes, we invite you to apply online. Please submit a CV and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the International Student Engagement Coordinator role. Applications will be assessed upon receipt, so we encourage you to apply promptly. If you would like to learn more about ACAP, please visit our website at www.acap.edu.au.
