International Recruitment Officers collaborate closely with International Market Development Managers to create and execute student recruitment strategies in designated regions. This involves supporting a network of recruitment agents and school counselors, as well as interacting with potential students to offer guidance and promote the University of Bristol – sometimes necessitating international travel for recruitment purposes. We are currently seeking two International Recruitment Officers for South and Central Asia or the Americas. Responsibilities include organizing various activities, coordinating marketing projects, and engaging in customer relationship management to attract international students to the University. Knowledge of marketing theory and practice is crucial for this role. Additionally, the position involves representing the University abroad, providing career counseling to potential students and training international education agents. You will also assist in developing recruitment plans and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the University’s internationalization efforts. Other duties include planning travel itineraries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating activities for visitors to the International Office. Candidates should have an interest in supporting the University’s internationalization goals, working independently overseas, analyzing data, collaborating with diverse colleagues, understanding marketing strategies across different cultures, and thriving in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.
