FTE: 1.0fte (working 37 hours per week)
Salary: UH5 £27,181 – £30,487 pa upon acquiring designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 25 days with standard public holidays and an additional 4 days during the office closure between Christmas and New Year
Location: College Lane campus

We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to contribute to the work of our International Office. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in the international conversion function for the University of Hertfordshire and will provide support to the recruitment and commercial functions of the International Office.

Primary Responsibilities:

– Support enquirer and applicant conversion campaigns through messaging services, email, and inbound and outbound telemarketing.
– Implement conversion plans across all markets, while supporting regional strategies and the overall international office conversion strategy.
– Develop an extensive understanding of admission entry requirements and University USPs across all markets, and provide exceptional customer service to applicants, agents, partners, and other stakeholders.
– Mentor and support junior colleagues and those involved in conversion, ensuring their ability to effectively contribute to activities and carry out successful campaigns.
– Take initiative in prioritizing urgent work within application cycle deadlines and maintain knowledge of UK immigration policy.

Required Skills and Experience:

– Proven track record in a related international education or customer-focused role.
– Exceptional customer service and telemarketing experience.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Effective relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
– Strong communication skills and excellent phone manner.
– Strong organizational, planning, and negotiation skills.

Required Qualifications:

– Minimum of a degree level, or equivalent qualification. Professional experience will also be considered.
