The role of the International Admissions Manager is to lead the development of projects and initiatives aimed at improving international admissions services, systems, and processes. They are responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to international applicants, as well as accuracy in offer letter processing, admissions processes, Confirmation of Enrollments, and visa validity information. The manager also mentors the Admissions team to ensure high performance expectations are met and actively contributes to the management of the Student Recruitment & Admissions function. Additionally, the manager provides industry best practice solutions and effectively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in international admissions, preferably within the higher education sector. They should also demonstrate the ability to manage cross-cultural teams, ensuring exceptional customer service standards through staff supervision, training, and support. Proficiency in using StudyLink application system and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, is also desired. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, including ESOS Act, National Code of Practice, and student visa regulations, is required. A post-graduate qualification and strong leadership and management skills with a track record of driving business improvement and implementing industry best practices are also preferred.
