Kaplan

Murdoch College is currently seeking casual, part-time teachers in Foundation and Diploma studies, with positions starting in June 2024. The college is specifically looking for teachers in the fields of Information Technology and STEM. Responsibilities for these positions include preparing and delivering class lessons, practicals, and workshops, as well as providing consultations to students outside of scheduled teaching hours. Teachers will collaborate with their team to develop teaching materials, unit outlines, curriculum documents, and assessment tasks. Additionally, they will be responsible for marking assessments, designing and invigilating exams, and providing pastoral care for under 18-year-old students. Participation in professional development sessions and compliance with company policies and procedures are also expected. Candidates must hold a degree in a relevant discipline, have qualifications and experience in teaching international students at Foundation or Diploma level, and possess a genuine interest in teaching and student learning. Strong organizational and administrative skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication abilities, are essential. Proficiency in computer literacy is required, and candidates should be able to consistently interpret and apply policy. A valid Working with Children Check is also necessary. Demonstrated background in professional development endeavors is desirable. Applications for these positions will close on April 30, 2024.
