Position: Associate Director (South Asia & Middle East) Location: Toowoomba, Springfield, or Ipswich campus Employment: Full-time continuing appointment (36hrs/week) Total remuneration range: $156,435 to $173,403 pa (includes salary range of $132,180 to $146,517 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary, and 17.5% annual leave loading) UniSQ is Australia’s leading regional university, aiming to be renowned for innovation and excellence in education, research, and engagement. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Associate Director to lead our marketing and recruitment efforts in the vibrant regions of South Asia and the Middle East. This role will play a pivotal role in expanding our international student pipeline and achieving student load and diversification targets. By leveraging strong relationships and in-depth knowledge of the target regions, the Associate Director will enhance UniSQ’s brand presence, establish robust enrolment pathways, and drive growth across all campuses and faculties. Key responsibilities include: 1. Developing and implementing strategic international recruitment plans to meet student load and diversity targets. 2. Monitoring recruitment progress during critical admissions cycles, identifying and resolving issues. 3. Effectively managing key recruitment channels and maintaining positive partner relationships. 4. Designing and executing audience-centered international marketing campaigns and initiatives. 5. Optimizing outcomes by activating the international agency network. 6. Providing expert advice and thought leadership to inform strategic decisions. 7. Leading a diverse team and fostering a positive and cohesive workplace. 8. Managing operations, budget, compliance, and performance effectively. To succeed in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge and experience in the South Asia and Middle East regions, as well as strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you should possess post-graduate qualifications in marketing, business, or relevant fields, and extensive experience in international marketing and recruitment, preferably within higher education. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to manage challenges and drive cultural change, are also essential.
