Recruitment: – Develop and implement an international recruitment schedule and strategy. – Organize recruitment events, both in-person and virtual, to promote undergraduate and graduate programs to prospective international students. – Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments. – Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as high school counselors and Education USA advisors. – Utilize a CRM system to manage communication with prospective students. – Engage prospective students through various channels to generate interest in the application and enrollment process. Admissions Processing: – Collect and review official documents from prospective students to determine their eligibility for admission. – Evaluate educational credentials, English proficiency, and financial documents according to university policies and best practices. – Maintain regular contact with prospective students, counselors, and families throughout the application and admission process. – Utilize multiple systems to handle international admission processes. Agent Management: – Oversee the contracted third party responsible for recruiting international students. – Provide training and materials on university programs and services to the third party. – Track prospects referred by the third party and compensate them according to the contract. International Alumni Ambassador Program (IAAP) Management: – Collaborate with the Global Education Committee to develop and promote the IAAP. – Recruit ambassadors to assist with university outreach activities and events. – Promote academic programs, community awareness, and relationship-building with prospective international students and key stakeholders. Immigration Advising and Consultation: – Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) to the Department of Homeland Security. – Issue initial I20s and DS2019s for international students and their dependents applying for F and J visas
