Start Date: As soon as possible The Careers Centre provides specialist careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students and graduates to develop their career management skills and improve their employability. We collaborate closely with academic schools, professional service units, alumni, employers, and student societies to deliver a comprehensive approach. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Opportunities Manager to enhance the employability of our students and graduates by sourcing and creating opportunities in North America. This includes building lasting relationships with employers and alumni to understand North American labor markets, sourcing opportunities, creating resources, and organizing events and workshops on and off campus. The role also involves working closely with other university units such as Admissions and Development (Alumni) to support recruitment and alumni engagement. Additionally, collaboration with other universities for joint event delivery is required. The ideal candidate should have a degree, excellent networking skills, a genuine passion for working with employers and alumni to benefit our students, and strong communication skills. Initiative, organization, and exceptional customer service are also essential qualities.
