OVERVIEW Vassar College is seeking an Office Coordinator to provide administrative and programmatic support for the Office of International Student Services. The role includes supporting immigration processes for F-1 and J-1 student populations, maintaining SEVIS records, assisting with international programming, and coordinating operational activities across departments and external agencies. This position combines administrative coordination with student support responsibilities in an international higher education environment. The Office Coordinator will also contribute to budget and operational functions within the office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide administrative support for the Office of International Student Services – Deliver programmatic support for international student initiatives – Provide limited immigration compliance support – Maintain SEVIS files and records – Support F-1 and J-1 immigration processes – Assist with I-20 and DS-2019 processing – Support international student programming and intercultural initiatives – Coordinate with campus departments and external agencies – Handle departmental budget tasks – Support office operational activities REQUIREMENTS – Ability to provide administrative support in an international student services environment – Ability to support immigration-related processes and compliance activities – Experience assisting with documentation and record maintenance – Ability to coordinate with campus departments and external agencies – Ability to support student programming and intercultural initiatives – Ability to manage operational and budget-related tasks WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International student services offices play an important role in supporting student success, immigration compliance, and intercultural engagement on campus.
