OVERVIEW The Program Coordinator role at The University of Texas at Austin sits within Texas Global and focuses on advancing education abroad opportunities for students. This position combines student advising, program management, and collaboration with partners to support UT Austin’s international engagement. The role is central to ensuring that education abroad programs are well-designed, accessible, and academically integrated. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Advise students on education abroad opportunities and participation – Manage a portfolio of education abroad programs – Design and promote education abroad programs – Recruit participants for education abroad initiatives – Coordinate with domestic and international partners – Support faculty-led education abroad programs – Support exchange programs – Manage administrative processes related to study abroad – Contribute to international engagement activities connected to education abroad – Support student mobility initiatives – Contribute to international partnerships – Support the academic integration of education abroad opportunities REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Education abroad programs play a critical role in preparing students to engage with an interconnected world, and this position directly supports that goal.
