OVERVIEW The Senior Outreach Program Coordinator plays a central role in strengthening engagement, belonging, and community for international students and scholars at The University of Texas at Austin. This position focuses on strategic communications, outreach, and programming that supports cross-cultural adaptation across the campus. The role works closely with International Student and Scholar Services to deliver high-impact initiatives that enhance the international student experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Serve as a driver of campus engagement and community-building for the international student and scholar population – Manage International Student and Scholar Services strategic communications – Design and deliver signature programming, including orientation, intercultural programming, and campus outreach – Implement programs that support cross-cultural adaptation and a sense of belonging – Supervise staff and volunteers involved in outreach and programming activities – Manage budgets related to programming and services – Collaborate with campus units to enhance services for international students and scholars REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International students and scholars contribute significantly to the academic, cultural, and global mission of the university.
