OVERVIEW The International Agreements Officer role at The University of Queensland is a continuing, full-time position within the Global Partnerships Division, based at the St Lucia campus in Queensland, Australia. The position plays a central role in supporting the university’s global engagement agenda through the effective coordination and management of international agreement processes. It is suited to professionals who are detail-oriented, collaborative, and interested in enabling international partnerships through strong governance and compliance practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Coordinate international agreement documentation in support of the university’s global partnerships – Advise internal stakeholders on international agreement procedures – Support governance processes related to international agreements – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of international agreements – Manage compliance activities associated with active international agreements – Produce reports on active international agreements – Work closely with internal stakeholders across the university – Contribute to continuous improvement across systems and processes related to international agreements REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International agreements underpin a university’s ability to engage globally in teaching, research, and collaboration.
