OVERVIEW The International Collaborative Research Academies (ICRA) Coordinator is a fixed-term role within Student & Scholarly Services at the University of Melbourne, based in Parkville, Victoria. This position supports joint PhD candidates and coordinates the University’s International Collaborative Research Academies, with a strong focus on fostering strategic international research training partnerships. Working at the intersection of graduate research administration, international engagement, and academic collaboration, the role plays a central part in enhancing global research outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support joint PhD admission and enrolment processes. – Coordinate the University of Melbourne’s International Collaborative Research Academies (ICRAs). – Advise supervisors and academic leads involved in international research training partnerships. – Coordinate governance processes and reporting related to the ICRA program. – Administer budgets and scholarships associated with international collaborative research activities. – Organise international workshops and visits. – Maintain communications related to ICRA activities and partnerships. – Build and sustain relationships with global partner institutions. – Work closely with graduate researchers, supervisors, and international stakeholders to maximise the benefits of international research partnerships.
