OVERVIEW The Associate Director, International Recruitment (Okanagan Campus) at The University of British Columbia is a senior leadership role focused on advancing international undergraduate enrolment at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. This position is responsible for shaping and delivering a comprehensive global recruitment strategy that aligns with institutional priorities and enrolment goals. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and international engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead and execute UBC Okanagan’s international undergraduate recruitment strategy – Oversee global recruitment activities across multiple regions – Manage international recruitment teams and external contractors abroad – Develop and maintain partnerships to support international recruitment objectives – Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and institutional requirements – Manage budgets related to international recruitment activities – Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on international recruitment and enrolment – Contribute to achieving international enrolment targets for the Okanagan campus REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International undergraduate recruitment is a critical component of UBC Okanagan’s academic and global engagement strategy.
